Antoine Normand, CEO, Director and Investor

Before joining BlueBear LES, Antoine Normand co-founded Cactus Commerce in 1995. For over 11 years, he worked to establish Cactus Commerce as a leading e-business software and services company before selling his participation in 2006. Mr. Normand was responsible for the company's corporate governance and financial management including investments, acquisitions, and raising venture capital.

Mr. Normand served on a number of community and government boards. He was a board member of the following organizations: the Economic Development Corporation for the city of Gatineau, QC; The Gatineau Chamber of Commerce; The Centre de Santé et de Services Sociaux de Gatineau (local hospitals); The Regional Solidarity Funds (Local VC) and the Jeux de la Francophonie Development Fund. He was also member of The Ottawa Partnership (TOP), and of the small business advisory board of Canada Revenue Agency; Until recently he was the President of the CSSSG Foundation. He is the founder of the Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants of Quebec, an organization originating in Paris, France, and a member of a local Think Tank on regional economic development: CERO.

Mr. Normand received his Civil Law (LLL) Degree and management certificate from the University of Ottawa.
