Antoine Normand, CEO, Director and Investor

Before joining BlueBear, Antoine Normand co-founded Cactus Commerce in 1995. For over 11 years, he worked to establish Cactus Commerce as a leading e-business software and services company before selling his participation in 2006. Mr. Normand was responsible for the company's corporate governance and financial management including investments, acquisitions, and raising venture capital.

Mr. Normand serves on a number of community and government boards. He served as board member of the following organizations: the Economic Development Corporation for the city of Gatineau, The Ottawa Partnership (TOP), at the small business advisory board of Canada Revenue Agency, The Gatineau Chamber of Commerce; and Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants in Paris, France; The Regional Solidarity Funds (Local VC) and the Jeux de la Francophonie Development Fund. He is President of the CSSSG Foundation and is a board member of the Centre de Santé et de Services Sociaux de Gatineau (local hospitals);

Mr. Normand received his Civil Law (LLL) Degree and management certificate from the University of Ottawa.
