BlueBear is a private Canadian company focused on forensic solutions in the fight against online Child Exploitation.

Our objective  is to design and develop forensic software that gives law enforcement and justice communities the solutions they need to do their jobs effectively, efficiently and successfully.

BlueBear’s flagship product is called LACE (“Law Enforcement Against Child Exploitation”). This software suite enables investigators to efficiently categorize vast amounts of images & videos data from confiscated computers, dramatically reducing (85-95%) the time and resources required to bring a case to court.  Using advanced biometric analysis, faces found in images are automatically extracted and compiled to create lists of victims and suspects or matched against existing facial databases.   LACE  enables  participating law enforcements agencies  world-wide to share investigative work results ensuring that all participants benefit from each agency’s efforts and thus maximizing available resources.
